Brownstein Wins Silver at 2018 Ad Age ‘Small Agency of the Year’ Awards

PHILADELPHIA, PA, July 19, 2018Brownstein Group has won Silver at the 2018 Ad Age ‘Small Agency of the Year’ Awards, solidifying the Philadelphia shop as one of the top two agencies in the country with 76-150 employees. Each year, Ad Age (the leading global publication for the advertising and marketing community) uncovers and honors small, independent agencies that are producing innovative and exciting work. The competition was stiff, but Brownstein Group beat out hundreds of other agencies from across the United States and was specifically noted for its ability to generate superior client ROI.

“Independent agencies aren’t controlled by big public companies or beholden to quarterly financial results, so we’re more nimble and able to offer our clients bolder campaigns,” said Marc Brownstein, President & CEO of Brownstein Group. “This award would not have been possible without the tremendous culture of our team; women and men whose guts, attitude and drive have consistently elevated our work above the competition. We’re from Philadelphia, so independence is in our blood and we work with companies who share similar revolutionary thinking. Even though we’ve been successfully representing brands for more than 54 years, we’re just getting started.”

Brownstein Group is the longest-running independent marketing communications agency in Philadelphia. Founded at the height of the Creative Revolution in 1964, Brownstein Group has since grown and evolved into a national, full-service agency with expertise across all disciplines, including: brand strategy, advertising, public relations, social media, and digital services. Also named one of Ad Age’s Best Places to Work and a Fortune Top 100 Best Places to Work for Women, Brownstein Group was recognized as a small agency of the year for its work on behalf of clients like IKEA, Comcast Xfinity, Wawa, Western Union , Frankford Candy, NJM Insurance, LEGOLAND® Discovery Center and DuPont™ Sorona®.

Brownstein Group was honored at a special ceremony as part of the Ad Age ‘Small Agency Conference & Awards’ held on July 18 in Marina del Rey, California. For more information on Brownstein Group, please visit and follow all agency news on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
