Brownstein Takes Home Four ADDY Awards in the Philly Metro

We never take industry recognition for granted, and value awards programs that recognize our work for our clients – and sometimes, ourselves! Each year, the American Advertising Awards (ADDYs) – the advertising industry’s largest and most represented competition – highlights the best and brightest creative thinking in our industry. The program attracts more than 25,000 entries every year, and our work brought home four honors at the 2023 Philly Metro ADDY awards! Check out more on the winning work below, which will move onto the district competition.

NJM Insurance Group

To support our long-standing client NJM break through the crowded landscape of much larger insurance competitors, we went against the grain for a campaign with “No Jingles or Mascots.” Since its inception, the campaign has consistently ranked at the top of the insurance industry for likability and engagement, and quite frankly, it proves that people are ready for something different. So, as long as the insurance industry keeps making commercials with mascots and jingles, we’ll keep making work without them, and focus on what’s really important.

This category allowed us to spotlight some of the boldest and most unusual work we’ve done for NJM, including TV, social media, radio, and even a dedicated landing page for our “Licensed Mascot Therapist,” Dr. Schmoctor.

Owners Bank

Integrated B2B Campaign Category – Silver

Owners Bank was a new concept created by previous small business owners and banking industry veterans who understood what it meant to be a small business in a world of big banks. Through an integrated campaign across social media, OLV, and more, we developed a simple and punchy tagline that challenged the status quo and spoke directly to Owners Bank’s target audience: “All business, no B.S.”

Poster Child, a brand-new influencer relations agency that prides itself on real personal connections, is the newest addition to the Brownstein Group family. To help launch and promote the agency — already boasting clients such as Peloton — to the very talent we hoped to attract, we created an eye-catching suite of brand elements designed to be both timeless and modern.
