Serving Up Success: Brownstein Group Announces New Food & Beverage Clients

Three new additions expand the food & beverage portfolio across its agency network

July 27, 2023, Philadelphia, PA – Three Brownstein Group agencies – Brownstein, Red Thread PR and Nucleus Digital – announced today the addition of several new food and beverage clients to their rosters: Federal Donuts, Onvo and BKON.


Federal Donuts is now working with both Nucleus Digital and Red Thread PR to promote its donut and fried chicken shops. With nearly a dozen locations established since its founding in 2011, the brand now seeks to reach new markets across the country and accelerate its national expansion with the support of Nucleus and Red Thread PR. Nucleus will build upon the brand’s foundation to help its message resonate with new markets through brand strategy, creative campaign development and media strategy, planning and buying. In tandem, Red Thread PR will launch an earned media and influencer relations plan, as well as a social media strategy, to support the brand’s national growth.

To raise awareness of its fresh coffee offering with its bean-to-cup machines, hospitality company Onvo has partnered with Brownstein and Nucleus on a new brand awareness campaign. With a network of travel plazas across Pennsylvania and New York, Onvo sought the creative expertise of Brownstein and media experience of Nucleus to launch a campaign across OOH, streaming audio, digital banners, social media and point-of-purchase.

“This new creative campaign taps into the customer looking for a better coffee experience; it’s all about customizing to your taste,” said Gary Greenberg, chief creative officer at Brownstein. “Collaborating with a brand like Onvo — who enabled us to create our own language to describe that experience — gives us the freedom and flexibility to create a voice that is totally unique to the brand.”


Another addition to Brownstein Group’s roster of coffee brands is BKON, a highly specialized coffee extraction company that has enlisted Red Thread PR to support the launch and expansion of its new product, Coldstretto®, the only ready-made shelf-stable cold coffee that delivers the true flavor of a brand’s espresso. Red Thread PR is leading the launch with trade and national media outreach, influencer marketing and paid social media. Coldstretto® is rolling out at select Joe Coffee locations in New York City this summer, with additional partners to be announced in 2024 and beyond.

Most recently, Nucleus and Red Thread PR teamed up to support the launch of Yards Schwarber’s Standards campaign, featuring All-Star Philadelphia baseball star Kyle Schwarber and Philly’s ultimate tailgate beer, Philly Standard.
