PHILADELPHIA (May 26, 2021) – Brownstein announced today that Pat Dunigan and Ryan Paton have joined the agency as Group Account Directors, bringing a wealth of advertising and brand-building experience to the team. These marketing leaders join Brownstein during a pivotal growth period, following the launch of the agency’s Brand Longevity Lab and NJM’s acclaimed “No Jingles Or Mascots” campaign.
Throughout more than 20 years of experience, Pat Dunigan has learned to never say “no” to an opportunity to creatively solve brand challenges. She has worked all over the world to elevate the profiles of popular household name brands including Coca-Cola, Disney, Marriott, Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, Gillette, IKEA, Subway, and Unilever. After studying languages and art in college, she earned a position as a junior art director at Ogilvy and later moved to McCann, where she worked for years as a Creative Director on the global Coca-Cola business before moving client-side in the QSR sector, most recently as Vice President of Integrated Content and Advertising at Papa John’s. During the course of her career, Dunigan has developed and executed a multitude of integrated multinational marketing campaigns, helping global consumer brands generate upwards of $30 billion in annual revenue. She also serves as a consultant to the International Advertising Association.
Hailing from the UK, Ryan Paton — an advertising expert with more than 20 years of experience driving brand awareness — brings a passion for leading strategic, integrated marketing campaigns. Before moving to the US last year, Paton spent 11 years at Havas Canada in Toronto and Montreal, successfully directing a number of national consumer and B2B brands including Volkswagen, PayPal, Philips, and New Balance. Prior to this, he spent time at Rethink in Vancouver, and TBWA & JWT in the UK.
The new additions to the client services team come as the department grows under the leadership of David Shaw, a renowned marketing leader who joined the agency last summer after a nationwide search for talent. Together, the industry veterans bring decades of combined leadership experience, and will work together to further Brownstein’s mission of making brands unstoppable
“At Brownstein, the combined skillsets of Pat and Ryan bolster the agency’s reputation for building resilient brands that are fueled by change,” said Erin Allsman, Managing Director at Brownstein. “Their creative abilities and innovative instincts have already proven valuable in today’s dynamic marketing landscape, and they will serve as a great resource to Brownstein’s clients and partners.”
