Brownstein’s Laura Emanuel and Anne Ryan Add Vice President to Current Titles

Philadelphia, PA, April 11, 2019 – Brownstein Group (BG) has elevated both Laura Emanuel, Director of Public Relations and Anne Ryan, Director of Brand Strategy to Vice President status. The two, who will continue in their current roles, have demonstrated strong leadership skills during their tenures with the agency and are well positioned to carry BG into its next phase of growth.

In her more than 10 years at BG, Emanuel has risen through the PR ranks and gained expertise within the architecture, design, real estate and construction industries. As Director of Public Relations, her responsibilities include department management, strategic planning for both the agency and clients, staff development and new business. Emanuel has helped BG win a number of awards, and in 2012 earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR).

Ryan joined BG in 2014, and prior to that served as the Director of Strategy and Analysis for a digital marketing agency. Throughout her career, she has developed strategies for brands including IKEA, DuPont, Comcast and UnitedHealthcare. At BG, she is currently overseeing research and narrative development for the Philadelphia Global Identity Project, a multi-phased effort convened by the city’s Department of Commerce in partnership with numerous organizations.

BG has also recently promoted a number of other team members across the agency’s Client Services and Public Relations departments. These promotions include:

Client Services

  • Toni Daly was promoted to Group Account Director
  • Gina DiGiovanni was promoted Manager of Client Service Operations
  • Jenna Frimmel was promoted to Account Director

Public Relations

  • Nicole Gainer was promoted to PR Group Account Director
  • Meagan Sloan was promoted to PR Account Director
