Brownstein Group and Onvo Unveil New Advertising Campaign, Highlighting Onvo’s Fresh Coffee and Bean-to-Cup Machines

Philadelphia, Pa., October 19, 2023 – Today, Brownstein Group and Onvo unveiled new work to raise awareness of the hospitality company’s fresh coffee, offered through its bean-to-cup machines. Onvo partnered with two of Brownstein Group’s specialty agencies for the campaign — harnessing the creative expertise of Brownstein as well as the media expertise of Nucleus Digital — with a goal of driving visitation, coffee sales, and overall basket size.

A premier network of travel plazas in the PA and NY markets, Onvo offers a differentiated coffee experience: a self-automated machine that brews coffee in real time, providing travelers and other customers on the go with a quick, and more importantly, fresh cup of coffee. With no other convenience coffee offerings that were able to promise high quality and great taste, Onvo was able to meet a need in the market, with even more options than their competitors — including hot, cold, and flavored coffee choices.

The campaign strives to bring audiences a sense of rejuvenation, refreshment, and a reset – empowering consumers to take the feeling of a good cup of coffee throughout their day and sharing that Onvo is the best destination for the freshest cup of coffee with the power to take you up, up, and away.

“Real words can’t describe how good the coffee is, so we wanted to take a simple and fun approach to communicate their coffee’s value proposition,” said Adrian Castillo, Creative Director at Brownstein. “Onvo was willing to be creative and have fun, which allowed us to lean into their new branding, including Onvo the Owl, and create a campaign that feels foamy, frothy, and funny.”

The creative team sought to describe the great taste of Onvo’s coffee by introducing consumers to a new, wholly inventive vocabulary. The campaign pairs delicious adjectives such as “yummerful,” “tastifying,” and “freshalicious” with evocative macro images of coffee — including beans, creamy foam, and the rich browns of freshly brewed liquid. The result creates a subliminal ASMR moment to tap into the feeling of enjoying a fresh cup of good coffee, tied together by the new tagline, “Get Your Onvo On.” The campaign features OOH, streaming audio, digital banners, social media, and point-of-purchase assets, and will be in-market in both Pennsylvania and New York through the end of the year.
