Philly Egotist Features Brownstein Group’s Mural Arts Wall Ball 2016 Invites on Website
PHILADELPHIA (May 21, 2016)– Local advertising and design blog Philly Egotist featured Brownstein Group’s innovative design for the 2016 Mural Arts Wall Ball invitation on its website today.
Designed by Keelia Murnane, Hannah McDonnell and Bob Myers, the BG team said of their creation:
“The Mural Arts Program dream for Philadelphia is written on the walls of every building, in the paint on our fingers, in the stories we tell. It’s a dream that comes to life every day, connecting voices and communities in a shared message of change. For the 2016 Wall Ball invitation, we wanted people to use the words from around our city to build their own dream for Philadelphia. The invitation itself features a poem built from words we found in Philly murals, and we created a sheet of magnetic poetry to go with it. We encouraged invitees to rearrange the words, write their own poems and share them with #wallball2016 on social media. We wanted people to add their voice to our message—because our dream is strongest when we build it together.”
