Brownstein Group’s Director of Public Relations will help shape the future of the green building education and advocacy organization

PHILADELPHIA (Jan. 5, 2018) – Brownstein Group Director of Public Relations Laura Emanuel was appointed to Green Building United’s Board of Directors to provide public relations and brand management expertise to help shape the future of the organization. Green Building United, recently known as the Delaware Valley Green Building Council, is a nonprofit organization working to enhance sustainability in the built environment through education and advocacy.

“As we seek to elevate our new brand, Green Building United, it was especially important that we include a leader in marketing communications on our board,” said Alex Dews, Executive Director of Green Building United. “Laura will help inform the trajectory of our organization, thanks to her public relations expertise and diverse perspective on the building industry. She’ll be an invaluable asset to our organization, and her insights will help to further elevate our mission of fostering transformative impact.”

In her nearly 10 years at Brownstein Group, Laura has developed a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the architecture, design, real estate and construction industries. She works with global and regional brands, including Saint-Gobain North America, SageGlass, Campus Apartments, Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust and Cecil Baker + Partners. She helped establish the agency’s A/E/C practice group, which supports brand communication efforts for a variety of building industry clients through brand awareness and lead-generation campaigns, thought leadership programming, media relations, trade show support and collateral development.
