PHILADELPHIA (April 14, 2016)– Brownstein Group won Gold in the American Advertising Federation District Two AAA Regional ADDY Awards, the organization announced today. The Shipley Lower School brochure took home the Gold ADDY in the brochure/sales kit category in the Philadelphia competition and, after placing first in the District competition, will now be eligible for the National Advertising Awards, which will be announced on June 7, 2016.
To make Shipley School’s message memorable, the Brownstein Group team, led by Senior Art Director Kyle Ferino, turned it into a story about a map and the journey towards readiness. Colorful cut paper illustrations and copy that was both engaging and credentialing was used to take parents through the strong educational foundation their children could receive. And BG took it one step further by including an interactive activity map for students, meant to engage and inspire them at all Lower School age levels.
The AAF’s District Two includes 13 local advertising clubs in the Mid-Atlantic region, including Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York City.
The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 40,000 entries every year from local Club (Ad Club) competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
