Public Relations Department Receives National Recognition for Exemplary Campaigns
PHILADELPHIA, March 1, 2013 – Brownstein Group, the longest-running, independent brand communication agency in Philadelphia, was recognized at the PR News CSR Awards and in the PR Daily Media Relations Awards for campaigns it implemented for Saint-Gobain and The Graham Company.
At the PR News CSR Awards on February 11, Brownstein Group’s strategic communications campaign to support Saint-Gobain’s “Building Our Future Together” partnership with YouthBuild USA was an honorable mention in the “CSR on a Shoestring” category. This campaign engaged youth and communities in green building and environmental stewardship, established positive relationships with local communities/government officials, enhanced employee pride and secured quality media coverage.
Brownstein Group was also an honorable mention in PR Daily’s first-ever Media Relations Awards in the “Best Response to Breaking News” category. The agency was recognized for its ability to strategically insert regional insurance broker, The Graham Company, into the national discussion about the Affordable Care Act. Brownstein Group secured expert commentary opportunities for the client with a variety of local and national media, including The Philadelphia Inquirer and USA Today.

The campaigns have also been recognized regionally; in December 2012, Brownstein Group received 10 Pepperpot awards – an agency record – from the Philadelphia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, including campaigns for Saint-Gobain and The Graham Company.
