– AAF HONORS DIGITAL WORK IN TWO CATEGORIES-
PHILADELPHIA, April 3, 2014 –The American Advertising Federation (AAF) this week announced the winners of its 2014 district level ADDY awards. Brownstein Group (BG) was awarded a gold District Two ADDY for OhMoHeDidnt.com, the interactive website that also earned the Agency “Best in Show” honors at last month’s local Philadelphia ADDY awards. BG also won a silver District Two ADDY for its own newly-redesigned website, BrownsteinGroup.com.
OhMoHeDidnt.com is the brainchild of BG Associate Creative Director Kenny Kim, and was created for Movember, the international charity organization that raises vital funds and awareness to combat men’s cancers and mental health issues. Though tongue-and-cheek in nature, the website garnered extensive coverage and was able to secure donations to the Movember cause.
Launched in August 2013, the all-new BrownsteinGroup.com site was designed and developed entirely in-house. The cornerstone of the site is its axis-style navigation with full-bleed background imagery that harkens back to the 1960s era in which the agency was originally founded.
“It’s certainly validating to win at the local level. It’s even more validating to win top honors from a broader swath of the country,” said Marc Brownstein, President and CEO. “These awards are a testament to the strength of our creative instincts, and our commitment to executing diverse, inspiring work.”
The AAF’s District Two includes 13 local advertising clubs in the Mid-Atlantic region, including Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York City. District level honors are the second step in the three-tiered ADDY awards competition that culminates with the National American Advertising Awards, which will be announced at the AAF’s ADMERICA!2014 conference at the end of May.
