BROWNSTEIN GROUP WINS TOP IN-KIND DONOR AWARD FOR SECOND STRAIGHT YEAR

PHILADELPHIA, May 4, 2009 - Brownstein Group took home a Top In-Kind Donor Award at the Philadelphia Business Journal's Corporate Philanthropy Summit on Thursday, April 30, at the Sheraton Center City. This marks the second year in a row that the brand communication firm has taken home one of the top awards.

"Each one of us at Brownstein Group believes in lending our talents to those who need it most," states Berny Brownstein, Brownstein Group founder and chairman. "We are fortunate to have the kind of communication skills that can motivate other people to donate and support just causes."

Over the years, Brownstein Group has provided in-kind services for several clients, including the Anti-Defamation League, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Young Presidents' Organization, Kyle's Treehouse, and the Philadelphia Theatre Company.

The award ceremony kicked off with an inspiring keynote address from Jamie Moyer, pitcher of the Philadelphia Phillies, and wife Karen Moyer, co-founders of The Moyer Foundation, followed by a best practices panel discussion. Panelists included Judy Spires, President, ACME Markets; Charisse R. Lillie, Vice President of Community Investment, Comcast Foundation; Jerry L. Johnson, Vice Chairman, PRWT Services, Inc.; Tom Doll, Executive Vice President, Subaru America; and Jason Lutz, President, VILLA.
