PHILADELPHIA, January 10, 2011 - On December 9,
the Philadelphia Public Relations Society of America honored the
region's top PR professionals at the Pepperpot Awards. Brownstein
Group (BG) was the recipient of
six awards for its work in multicultural communications,
reputation management, newsletter writing, special events and
social media.
"These awards reflect our continual hard work and commitment to
our clients, agency and industry," said Erin Allsman, public

our work in social media is especially rewarding, as we have worked
hard to develop an expertise in this area."

Pepperpot (First Place)
Social Media - W.L. Gore
W.L. Gore approached Brownstein Group to develop and promote a
social media presence for the GORE-TEX® brand. Brownstein Group was
responsible for the development and promotion of
MyExperienceMore.com, a social networking community for outdoor
enthusiasts to communicate with one another and share their outdoor
experiences.
Social Media Platform- W.L. Gore
Brownstein Group developed and promoted W.L. Gore's social media
presence, MyExperienceMore.com. The Experience More community
increased brand affinity amongst loyal customers of the GORE-TEX®
brand via videos, photos and message boards.
Multicultural Communications - Bancroft
Bancroft is a leading provider of programs and supports for
children and adults with intellectual and developmental
disabilities, autism and acquired brain injuries. Brownstein Group
created a brand identity that reflects Bancroft's passion to alter
misconceptions surrounding the neurologically challenged
population. The "One world. For everyone." campaign was launched in
October 2009 through internal unveiling presentations, a brand
video, newsletter, media relations and thought leadership
initiatives. It has been successful in uniting an internal and
external audience to join the movement and embrace "It's our world,
too."

Reputation/Brand Management - Bancroft
Brownstein Group created a brand identity that reflects
Bancroft's mission and passion for supporting children and adults
with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism and
acquired brain injuries. The "One world. For everyone." campaign,
launched in October 2009, has improved employee morale and
successfully supported the company's board-development effort.
Special Events and Observances, Seven Days or Fewer, Budget

To support the launch of the GORE-TEX® social networking
community, MyExperienceMore.com, Brownstein Group created the
Experience More Blogger Summit. Fifteen industry bloggers were
flown in to the company's headquarters to take tours of the
factories, meet with product development experts and preview the
new community prior to launch.
Newsletter - The Graham Company
The Graham Company, one of the Mid-Atlantic region's largest
insurance and employee benefits brokers, needed a newsletter that
promotes its brand promise, showcases thought leadership and
provides content for republishing in the media. The resulting
publication, Graham Advisor, a 4-page self-mailer, has
helped the company improve its internal and external
communications. All feature articles have also been published in
trade magazines.
