GROUP OF NEW CLIENTS SIGNED UP BY BROWNSTEIN AD/PR AGENCY

Philadelphia Business Journal

8/29/2008

Center City ad agency Brownstein Group has some new clients.

It's been hired by TargetRx for branding, positioning and public relations; 1441 Chestnut, for PR, cross-promotional marketing and events; VWR, for branding, positioning and PR; the Mural Arts Program, for logo design and brochures; The Hub, for PR and strategic positioning.

Brownstein also has two clients under a new, "pay-per-placement" program: Cosmopolitan Skin Care Studio and Mondre Energy. Under the program, clients pay an up-front fee, but after that, they only pay when Brownstein's PR folks "place" a story or mention. CA-ching!

Finally, Brownstein employees are coming off the annual Camp Berny, an annual retreat named for Brownstein Group founder Berny Brownstein, who still keeps office hours. (His son Marc runs the agency.)

This year, Brownstein bused employees to the Germantown Cricket Club, where they brainstormed, ate barbecue and played team-building games.

"It's team-building, exercises and just a lot of beer drinking," said Marc Brownstein.
