Chairman and chief creative officer of the
mega-watt Brownstein Group has just gone and taken up
painting
Man, we
thought, the ad business really
must be tanking if the
chairman and chief creative officer of the mega-watt Brownstein
Group has just gone and taken up painting. No, no, no, Berny
Brownstein assures us, he's actually been at this for decades,
having graduated from the University of the Arts in 1957. The
73-year-old has amassed a large body of work - mostly watercolors
and oil paintings - deemed worthy of attention by discerning eyes
at the Wexler Gallery, where 20 of his pieces are on display
through August 29th. Look for idyllic landscapes observed on his
travels, from the Jersey Shore to the wine-soaked hills of Tuscany.
