Dance, Magic, Dance!

Recently, I had the pleasure of re-watching the epic puppet perversion fantasy flick that is Labyrinth.

Wow. This movie really is something else. When I first saw this as a child in the late 80s, I remember being intrigued but predominantly creeped out by this movie.  But, now, I'm kinda into it and found it much more entertaining this time around. I also can't stop singing " Magic Dance" and I've been dying to find an adorable baby in footy pajamas that I can toss up into the air.

A Krimp in My Smile.

Tastykake, you have been making my afternoon snack time truly delightful for years.

And now lookit you. Taking your signature sponge cake - the Krimpet - so moist and fluffy and teasing my tastebuds with new inventive varieties.  Pancake Krimpets?!?!?! SHUT YOUR MOUTH. Or open it.

Goodbye Horses (Interns)...

One of the sure signs that summer is nearly over: Intern Exodus.

This last batch of creative interns have been pretty awesome.

Kids, I hope you learned a lot here at BG...like how to always look busy...and how to deal with crazy people that call you the wrong name all of the time...and most importantly - HOW TO SAVE YOUR STUFF TO THE SERVER!

Thanks a lot, guys. And good luck!

Advertising Imitating Art Imitating Life.

If you haven't already, you should definitely check out the art and film project commissioned by Stella Artois: The Ritual Project and Up There.   The short film  documents a crew of artists in NYC and the dying trade of large-scale hand-painted advertising. The project itself details the step by step of bringing the perfect Stella Artois to life.

Everyone Loves a Good Parody Commercial

Parody commercials.

SNL's been doing them forever. And good humor sticks to the ribs. This is definitely one of the better skits in recent memory.

Hey, That's Awesome!

When two of my favorite things are combined, you've got a happy girl on your hands.

Not since Reese's have I been this tickled by a food ad:

Burger King and slasher-film icons!

(Yeah, I know, I sound like a well-rounded individual).
