Brownstein Group Grows its Strategy, Account Management, Public Relations, and Social Media Practices With Six New Hires and a Promotion

PHILADELPHIA, September 8, 2014Brownstein Group (BG), the longest-running independent brand communication agency in Philadelphia, hired Meredith Waldman as its Director of Brand Strategy and promoted Shannon Reynolds to Vice President. The agency also hired Erin Auci as PR and Social Media Account Supervisor, Kathleen Tower as a Social Media Coordinator and two new Account Management Senior Account Executives: Jenna Frimmel and Sarah Lanzone. These hires and promotion support BG’s continued growth and strengthen its core competencies and full range of services.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Waldman will be an integral part of BG’s core management team. As Director of Brand Strategy, she is responsible for creating brand identities by researching new and existing clients’ businesses to uncover an in-depth knowledge of the organizational process, competitive threats and opportunities.

In addition to being Vice President, Reynolds serves as Director of Account Management. Since joining BG in 2011 she has led her team through a wide range of client initiatives, including fully integrated, award-winning brand communication campaigns. Reynolds also plays a key role in managing the agency’s financial services division, which she helped establish.

Further integrating PR and Social Media, Erin Auci has joined the team as PR and Social Media Account Supervisor and Kathleen Tower as Social Media Coordinator. Prior to joining BG, Auci served as Account Director with DBC PR+New Media in Washington, D.C., cultivating extensive experience managing PR and social media efforts for major consumer and technology brands. In her new role, she is responsible for the management and development of social media content strategy for BG’s top retail clients.

Tower is responsible for social media content creation, monitoring and measurement, as well as providing digital communications account support across several PR clients. She joins BG from Coyne Communications in Parsippany, NJ, where she managed social media accounts for Mary Kay® and Peeps®.

Joining  BG’s Account Management team as Senior Account Executives, Jenna Frimmel and Sarah Lanzone will be responsible for the development of traditional and interactive marketing programs that achieve clients’ business objectives. Prior to BG, Frimmel was a marketing manager and journalist, and Lanzone worked in media production.
