Dance, Magic, Dance!

Recently, I had the pleasure of re-watching the epic puppet
perversion fantasy flick that is Labyrinth.
Wow. This movie really is something else. When I first saw this
as a child in the late 80s, I remember being intrigued but
predominantly creeped out by this movie. But, now, I'm kinda
into it and found it much more entertaining this time around. I
also can't stop singing "
Magic Dance" and I've been dying to find an adorable baby in
footy pajamas that I can toss up into the air.
Another joy I've derived from this movie is asking your peers
about it and hearing all of their sick twisted confessions. Like my
friend, Jane. She remembers that her "10 year-old self" was
strangely attracted to David Bowie's character, Jareth the Goblin
King, in ways that even she could not comprehend as a youth.
Um, I love Bowie. But that hair? Those pants? I can't.
Also, fun fact: David Bowie did the voice (gurgling) for the
baby in the song "Magic Dance".
