BG Groupies: Kenny Kim

Q&A with our Associate Creative Director, Kenny
Kim.
Q: Hey Kenny. How you doin?
A: Hey! Fantastic.
Q: Great. So, you're my first people profile
for the blog. Get excited.
A: Really? Oh man. Is this happening right
now?
Q: Oh yes.
A: Wow...OK.
Q: What was your first job out of art
school?
A: Kanter International. I was a
"freelance designer".
Q: What is your current role at Brownstein
Group?
A: Associate Creative Director.
Q: What has been one of your most rewarding
projects or assignments while you've been here at BG?
A: Hmmmm. I've worked on a lot that I'm proud
of. But most rewarding would have to be the work we do with the
Mural Arts Program. I'm not from Philly. I'm from D.C. When I first
moved here, all of the awesome murals were the first thing I
noticed. I thought it was so cool. And learning about their mission
was just so inspiring...and on top of everything, they're great
people to partner with. They're passionate and dedicated. I
realized this when we helped them with their 25th anniversary mark.
Its been a real highlight of my career thus far.
...
Hey. Have you been writing all of this down?
Q: Uh, yeah.
A: Wow. You got all of that?
Q: Yeah. I'm awesome.
