March Drools or April Fools?
A video recently posted on Youtube shows a startling development
for the next release of the Adobe Creative Suite (CS5):
content-aware fill. This (in theory) takes photo-retouching to a
new level. But is it for real?
One of the Youtube comments sums it up for the incredulous:
"Fake. It's photoshopped" while another sums up the flip
side: "it's going to leave photo retouchers and graphics designers
[sic] unemployed."
What do you think? Are we one click away from pro-level
alternate reality? Will anyone trust anything they don't see live
and in person EVER again? Or is Adobe having a laugh in the spirit
of April Fool's Day?
