Word on the interwebs is that these awesome beverage containers
were given out as swag to press photographers during the 2010
Olympics in Vancouver…and now everyone wants one, and I can see
why. Apparently, they were not originally intended to be available
to the public, but since when has that ever stopped a super fan?
Someone took it upon themselves to launch a "Canon's 70-200mm 1 Series Thermos" fan
club on Facebook. It has over 4,000 members. And guess what. Now
they are available for purchase.
The mug makes me think of that Wayne's World gag, but with a bit
of a caffeinated twist…
"Camera 1…[makes you go] Camera 2".
(Har har har. I'm the funniest person I know.)
