Tis the season

Tis the season.....Holiday Party Etiquette

It's that lovely time of year when we're supposed to be enjoying the season, going to holiday events and appreciating one another.  However, time and time again I find myself inundated with articles online about how to behave at office holiday functions.  Maybe I'm just an optimist (I laugh as I type that) or much more likely that I'm lucky enough to work with intelligent people that I think can handle themselves in a variety of settings.  Isn't it a bit much?  Wear this, don't mention that, sit here, don't drink that.   Don't we as professional adults get it already?  I'm not a babysitter people.  Have a good time, enjoy and appreciate your colleagues and don't do or say anything disrespectful or that you'll feel awkward about in the office the next day.  I'm looking forward to our party tonight BG!

*I reserve the right to change the above statement the morning after our holiday party
